Marispy Fitzpatrick

CO-OWNER

Marispy comes from a diverse background of marketing, sales, business, and fitness, among other things, and even worked for a short time as a computer systems administrator for Loop1. When she and Bill bought out Loop1’s partner in 2017, Marispy decided it was time to step into an expanded role leading marketing and operational initiatives and discovering process improvements. Marispy eventually wants to become the “hub of the human side” of Loop1. Unofficially, she fulfills multiple roles, including finding unexpected ways to boost employee happiness. She’s particularly interested in building upon the Loop1 Cares program, which supports charitable causes important to employees.

Anthony Bettanin

Chief Operating Officer

Anthony Bettanin is the COO of Loop1, joining through the acquisition of Xlate Group, where he was CEO and Chairman. Anthony started his enterprise software career at SoftLaw (later called RuleBurst and Haley), an entrepreneurial Australian IT startup that developed an innovative AI product now called Oracle Intelligent Advisor. After a decade working across Australia and the UK in a wide variety of leadership roles including consulting, architecture, product strategy, presales and sales, Anthony became Chief Legal Officer and ran the due diligence for the acquisition by Oracle. Over the next seven years with Oracle Intelligent Advisor, Anthony established a global partner network and ran the Asia Pacific sales team, making it Oracle’s most successful SaaS product in the region.
Anthony has degrees in both Computer Science and Law. He has taught IT Law courses at the Australian National University and King’s College London. Anthony is also a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Bill Fitzpatrick

CEO

An accomplished engineer with a gift for translating technical concepts into plain English and a sharp business sense, Bill Fitzpatrick is building on the success of Loop1 Systems to execute an ambitious vision for the future. Bill co-founded Loop1 Systems, a SolarWinds Authorized Partner, in 2009. He played an integral role in building the nearly 10-year-old business into what is today, a bustling, Austin-based company counting more than 200 of the Fortune 500 as clients. In the summer of 2017, Bill assumed full ownership of Loop1 Systems and has since laser-focused on one simple goal: to bring the truth to light for each Loop1 client.

Holger Mundt
Technical Architect

With more than 20 years of IT industry experience, Holger’s career began as a student-intern at Deutsche Telekom before becoming a consultant with a Veritas partner and then establishing his own business in 2010, I.Tresor—a German-based consulting and services organization with offices in Ansbach and Buchen. In 2021, Holger joined the Loop1 group with his company I.Tresor, taking up the role of Technical Architect.

As a monitoring consultant, he has set up numerous SolarWinds installations in the DACH region, from small to large deployments. Being nominated as Channel Champion in 2018 and THWACK MVP (HerrDoktor) in 2019, he has proven his dedication to SolarWinds with his deep knowledge of IT Operations Management. Holger currently holds six SCP certifications.

Darryl Drinkwater
EMEA Professional Services Manager

The whole of Darryl’s working career has been focused on the Management and Monitoring of IT Systems and networks, often within secured environments. He has been working with SolarWinds software for more than 20 years, and currently holds all 8 available SCP’s, as well as being a SolarWinds Channel Champion.

Darryl has a background in training and development, with a post-graduate award from Cambridge University and a Fellowship from the Learning & Performance Institute. He has an evangelists zeal for implementing consistent, accurate and effective system monitoring following ITIL guidelines.

A typical week for Darryl consists of 50% end-user training and 50% consultancy provision for clients of all sizes and across all industry sectors. Darryl is a frequent participant and invited speaker at trade shows and conferences.

Marcus Jacomb
EMEA Field Services Engineer

Marcus Jacomb is a Field Systems Engineer at Loop1 in Cork, Ireland—providing remote and onsite support consultancy across all SolarWinds IT network management and monitoring tools. He has a vast amount of experience in working with clients of varying sizes and across a range of industry sectors, assisting with their SolarWinds deployments. This includes installation services, configuration, consulting, troubleshooting, system design, support, and training provision.

Marcus is an enthusiastic, outgoing, self-driven and professional individual who thrives on new, exciting challenges and hard work. He has achieved all available SolarWinds certifications and plans to continue to learn and certify as new exams become available.

Mike Nichol
APJ Client Solutions Architect

Mike Nichol is a Client Solutions Architect at Loop1 in Australia. Mike has been with Loop1 for 2 years, working extensively with the SolarWinds network management products, incl. NPM, NCM, NTA, VNQM, SAM, EOC, IPAM, and Syslog. He also has a vast amount of experience working with Cisco collaboration and cloud solutions and Microsoft technologies.

Prior to joining Loop1, Mike spent 14 years at Telstra Corporation, designing, costing, and implementing corporate networking solutions, with a focus on network infrastructure, server and storage, telecommunications and collaboration, teleconferencing and user computing.

In his spare time, Mike loves to travel and particularly enjoys immersing himself in different cultures—he recently spent time volunteering at a school in Indonesia while on a business trip to Jakarta, and very much hopes to have the opportunity to do this again.

Lorenzo Brizeño
Lead Technical Trainer

Lorenzo Brizeño has spent more than 29 years in the IT industry—10 of those with SolarWinds, in technical support initially, and then moving on to become a sales engineer. In 2019, he moved with his family to Cedar Park, TX, and joined Loop1 as a technical trainer, deciding to put to good use his talent for spreading knowledge.

Lorenzo’s background in teaching is varied, from instructing individuals in Salsa dance, to teaching IT professionals how to make practical use of software in their environment. He has a total of 12 years in instructional training and is continually searching for new ways to help impart that knowledge in an effective and enjoyable way. Lorenzo currently holds 5 SCP’s—plus he is actively working toward his sixth.

In his spare time, Lorenzo enjoys catching up on the latest football stats, traveling as often as he can, dancing with his wife, and watching his daughter grow and change daily.
